PURPOSE:To surely connect a base unit and a slave set and to prolong the maximum waiting time of the slave set by a secondary battery without delaying the time of response to the base unit. CONSTITUTION:A noise level at a frequency to position a first control channel is detected by a reception frequency at a receiving circuit part 13; a noise level at a frequency to position a second control channel is detected by a reception frequency at the receiving circuit part 13; and it is decided which level is lower. Then, a base unit control part 18 controls a transmitting circuit part 12 so as to transmit a control signal later while using only the control channel for which it is decided its level is lower, transmits the control signal to the slave set 2 and transmits that the base unit 1 uses this control channel later. At the hand set 2, the control signal is received by a receiving circuit part 24 and extracted and a slave set control part 28 controls the receiving circuit part 24 based on that control signal so as to perform intermittent reception only concerning the control channel to be used by the base unit 1 later while recognizing that control channel. |
