PURPOSE:To provide a secondary cell high in capacity and voltage, and concurrently enhance charging/discharging cyclic characteristics by letting a negative electrode be composed of a specified non-fusible and insoluble base substrate, employing organic solvent solution including specified organic solvent as electrolyte, and thereby enhancing the utilization factor of the negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:For a negative electrode 2 a nonfusible and insoluble base substrate is used which is heat-treated products of condensation polymer in an aromatic system, and has each frame structure in a polyacen system where an atomic ratio of hydrogen to carbon is 0.5 to 0.05, and the mixed solvent of ethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate is used as organic solvent. Besides, let a positive electrode 1 be composed of an organic semiconductor in a polyacen system and the like including active material which can dope/undope anion or cation included in electrolyte 4, and material in a carbon system is desirably used as a conductive agent. By this constitution, a secondary cell high in capacity and also excellent in cyclic characteristics can thereby be provided. |
