The present invention relates to a greeting device, and in particular to a card or label which is arranged to be mounted to the neck of a bottle of wine, spirits or the like, forming a sleeve around the neck of the bottle. The card preferably bears a printed message and also provides a space for a user to write a personal message. The card preferably comprises a main body in a projecting portion, the projecting portion mounting or bearing an icon which is commensurate with the message. For example, the icon may be representation of holly and the message may be "Merry Christmas".
