Polyarylene ether moulding material with good melt stability

Moulding materials are claimed, contg. (A) 34-99.99 wt.% polyarylene ether, (B) 0.01-1.0 wt.% cpds. of formula F2n+1Cn((R)p-AX (I), (C) 0-60 wt.% non-fibrous mineral filler and (D) 0-5 wt.% additives and/or processing aids; F2n+1Cn = linear chain with n = 3-20; R = 1-6C linear alkylene, 6-14C arylene, -OR<1>- or -SR<2>- (with R<1>, R<2> = 1-4C alkylene); p = 0 or 1; AX = hydrophilic gp. Also claimed is a process for the prodn. of these moulding materials by premixing the components prior to extrusion.
