<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high-performance clear hot melt ink for ink jet recording by mixing a wax being normally solid and having a specified melting point with a resin, a colorant and a plasticizer. CONSTITUTION:This ink is one used in a hot melt ink jet recorder which performs recording with an ink molten by heating to a temperature higher than room temperature and comprising a wax being normally solid and having a melting point of 50-150 deg.C, a colorant and a plasticizer. The plasticizer is one having a molecular weight of 100-10000 desirably one containing at least one member selected from among an aliphatic ester, an aromatic ester, a phosphoric ester and a hydroxy acid ester, more desirably one containing at least one member selected from among a phthalic ester, a fatty acid ester, a polyester plasticizer, an epoxy plasticizer and a trimellitic acid plasticizer.</p> |
