The invention relates to combined, simultaneously operating heating and cooling systems. Depending on the season, the air compressed in the compressor can be drawn in from within the building in question (during the cold months) or from outside (during the warm months). When air is drawn in from within the building, heat is extracted from the air after it has been compressed in the compressor and transferred via one or more heat exchangers to a consumer, e.g. premises requiring heating and ventilation during the heating season; after the air has passed through the heat exchangers, it is allowed to expand in the turbine and thus cools. When air is drawn in from outside, cold air is fed into the premises; as the air is compressed in the compressor, a working medium such as water (condensed during the process of heat transfer to the consumer from the air which is saturated with water vapour after the compressor stage) is sprayed into it through a nozzle. The intake of air into the compressor can be from an unproductive, high-potential source, e.g. above a kitchen stove. The compressor drive can be a turbine or steam produced in the boiler and fed into an injector.
|
