Flow velocity or flowrate measuring probe

The measuring probe has an elongate body, positioned perpendicular to the flow direction, projecting into a flow chamber for the flow medium. The free end of the probe body has a measuring opening leading to a measuring channel, in a plane perpendicular to the probe, for measuring the static flow pressure and a measuring opening leading to a second measuring channel for measuring the dynamic flow pressure. Pref. both channels are connected to a differential pressure cell, for providing an air volume measuring device, for use in an i.c. engine air intake, as part of a fuel metering system.
