The invention relates to a locomotion machine driven by the walking motion of the user. It is comprised of a frame (1) whereon is mounted a propulsion device (3) driven by a belt transmission device (4, 5). There are provided means (41, 42), in addition to the handle (33), for bearing a portion of the user's body in order to prevent said portion from moving forwards with respect to the frame (1).
