摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To attain a high picture quality having a high image density and a low surface fogging by providing a process for transferring by transfer bias voltage after developing a electrostatic latent image and using a magnetic toner composed of respectively a specific binding resin, charge controlling agent and magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:In the electrophotographic method which includes a transfer process using a conductive elastic roller by the transfer bias voltage, the magnetic toner is constituted at least of a binding resin, magnetic material and charge controlling agent, and the binding resin has 1.0X10<4>-2.0X10<7> storage elastic modulus and is constituted of a styrene based polymer consisting essentially of styrene, the mixture or the like. And the charge controlling agent is constituted of at least a metal complex dye expressed by the formula. In the formula, X represents nitro group, sulfonamide group or a halogen atom, Y represents hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or into nitro group (where, except the case that both X and Y are nitro group), M represents chromium or cobalt atom, Further, the magnetic material is composed of a magnetic material particle having >=0.6g/cm<3> static bulk density.</p>
