<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reciprocation type compressor which is constituted to incorporate an oil separating mechanism without increasing the total overall height of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal separation type oil separating mechanism 18 to separate oil contained in a compression refrigerant is disposed in the vicinity of a place where discharge passages 35a and 35b are opened in discharge chambers 25 and 17 formed in front and rear housings 5 and 6. Oil reservoir chambers 21 and 14 to store oil separated by the oil separation mechanism 18 are formed in the housings 5 and 6. The oil reservoir chambers 21 and 14 are communicated with low pressure regions (suction chambers 20 and 13) in the compressor through return oil holes 22d and 15d. After compression refrigerant gas discharged in the discharge passages 25 and 17 passes the oil separation mechanism 18, Compression refrigerant gas is discharged through the discharge passages 35a and 35b to the outside. Separated oil is stored in the oil reservoir chambers 21 and 14 and returned to the low pressure regions in the compressor through the return oil holes 22d and 15d and used for lubrication.</p> |
