PURPOSE:To prevent the flow of liquid and breakage of a separator even if the temperature inside a battery rises and improve the heat resistance and reliability by using an aramide composite film, which has ion conductivity and specified air permeability, as a separator. CONSTITUTION:An aramide composite film, which has ion conductivity and gas permeability of 1000sec/100cc or over (JIS-P-8117, Gurley air permeability), is used as a separator. In this case, the aramide composite film does not have voids, there is no fear of lithium dendrite short. Moreover, since it dissolves in sulfuric acid and does not dissolve in an organic solvent, it is excellent in mechanical properties such as chemical stability, tensile strength, elongation, etc., and besides it has excellent heat resistance at 200 deg.C or higher. Moreover, since it contains lithium ions and ion conductivity, it can be used as the useful separator of a battery. |
