The lightweight brick is manufactured by (A) mixing 80% synthetic lightweight aggregate, 3% stone powder, 7% glass fiber and 10% unsaturated polyester; (B) charging the mixture in a mold, while vibrating with a vibrator; (C) releasing the mixture from the mold after natural curing; and (D) cutting it into the size of a brick or block. The synthetic lightweight aggregate is prepared by mixing soil and a little bit of metal powder with water to make spherical product with a diameter of 5-20mm, and calcining the product in a rotary heating kiln at 1100-1200 deg.C.
