PURPOSE:To freely alter print density to one that an operator requests by providing light source power supplies of different voltages, and a selection switch which selects one of them according to a command from outside and connects it to the light emitting part of a density detection sensor. CONSTITUTION:An optical output part 1 is provided with the selection switch 4 which operates in response to a signal from the externalcommand changeover- switch 11 and the light source power supplies 1a, 1b and 1c, each of which supplies a voltage different from one another. The selection switch 4 selects one of the light source power supplies 1a, 1b and 1c according to the command of the external command changeover switch and connects it to the light emitting part 2a. The voltages of the light source power sources 1a, 1b and 1c are voltages 1A, 1B and 1C, respectively, voltage 1A>1B>1C are satisfied. The external command changeover switch 11 switches a signal applied from a selection signal input part 10 into which the operator inputs the command and a signal applied from an upper device 71. |
