PURPOSE:To promote the commonability of parts for both right-and left doors by forming a rod fixture and an engaged piece of a device which opens or closes door om making a handle turn round as far as 90 degrees, separately, and having them fitted free of detachment with a prismatic member. CONSTITUTION:A rod fixture 3 with a square hole 40 and an engaged piece 56 with a square hole 40' both are clamped to a handle receiver part 32 free of detachment by an attaching screw 46 in holding a rod between via a shaft member equipped with a prismatic part 34. When a door is opened, a locking part 37 at the other end of a handle 2 is drawn out of a body 25, this handle 2 is tilted, turning it as far as 90 degrees, then engagement of the engaged piece 56 is set free. In the case where this handle body 25 is attached to a left-hand door or right-hand one. it is performed by way of altering each setting angle of the rod fixture 3 and the engaged piece 56. With this constitution, the number of part items is thus reducible. |
