IN-PREMISES NETWORK COMMUNICATION METHOD

PURPOSE:To obtain a position management method for the user in the in- premises communication network in which the convenience for the user is improved by adopting the configuration such that the user carries a small sized transmitter and a stationary terminal equipment located nearby is used for an exclusive terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:A small sized transmitter 11 carried by the user sends a position registration request signal intermittently or at all times. Upon the receipt of the position registration signal sent from the small sized transmitter 11, a stationary terminal equipment 12 informs the arrival of the position registration request signal and its reception level to an exchange 13 in an in-premises communication network. The exchange 13 receiving the signal compares the position registration request signal with a predetermined threshold level and registers the position of stationary terminal equipments 12 whose reception level is over the threshold level as terminal equipments resident in the zone of the user. The exchange 13 transfers the user setting environment information whose position is registered to the stationary terminal equipments 12 registered to be resident in the user coverage area. Each stationary terminal equipment 12 displays codes to identify plural users whose position is registered onto a display device of itself.
