PURPOSE:To improve operability of setting a parameter in an electronic instrument by also setting other musical sound generation modes according to the setting operation of the parameter deciding the musical sound generation mode. CONSTITUTION:A modulation signal generation part 3 generates two low frequency signals with a required generation mode based on the parameters consisting of a depth, a wave, a form, etc., set by operating an operation key provided on a panel part 5 and a key operation condition signal supplied from a key board part 1, and supplies these low frequency signals to a musical sound signal generation circuit 4 as a modulation signal, and modulates the sound pitch and the sound volume of the musical sound generated by the musical sound generation circuit 4. After the musical sound generated by the musical sound generation circuit 4 is amplified by an amplifier 6, it is emitted as a musical sound from a speaker 7. Thus, the number of operation keys are reduced. |
