The file consists of a horizontal holder (1) on which the documents are positioned vertically and held in place between a fixed rear plate (2) and a movable front plate (6) with a handle (8), guide (7) and a locking element (9). The holder has a base made from two rigid straight tubes (3) which are perpendicular to the rear plate and designed to receive the guides on the front plate. The front plate can be equipped with elastic members so that it applies a constant pressure against the end of a stack of documents, while the latter can have projecting indicators (10) and separators (12).
