PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of an excessive shift shock during failure in operation of a solenoid valve for controlling a clutch. CONSTITUTION:A proper oil pressure responding to an operation state is directly fed to the clutch chamber 4a of a clutch 4 for a lever shift by a normally- opening type solenoid valve 3 for controlling a clutch not through an accumulator at shift. The trouble of the solenoid 3 for controlling a clutch is detected by an electronic control unit(ECU) 5 and when the trouble of the solenoid valve 3 is detected, energization to the solenoid valve 3 is disconnected and the solenoid 3 is normally opened. A duty command value to the solenoid valve 6 for controlling a line pressure is controlled by an ECU 5 during a gear shift so that a line pressure of oil fed to the clutch 4 for a gear shift through the solenoid 3 for controlling a clutch is decreased. |
