PURPOSE:To provide an orthogonally polarized wave branching filter having a short-circuit plate with simple assembling and formed easily. CONSTITUTION:The filter is provided with a waveguide section 10 consisting of a rectangular main waveguide 1 in which a groove of T-shape in a top view whose longitudinal cross section is U-shaped is provided and having a cover T on its upper side, of a sub waveguide 2 having a shape cutting off an electromagnetic wave at a low frequency band being a prescribed frequency band, of a rectangular branch waveguide 3 and of a step conversion section 4, and with a short-circuit plate 11 that has a flat plate section 11a, folded parts 11b, 11c, is fitted to grooves 12a, 12b of a guide wall of an electromagnetic wave input/output opening 3a of the rectangular branch waveguide 3 against an elastic force of the folded parts 11b, 11c and in which the folded parts 11b, 11c are closely adhered respectively to the grooves 12a, 12b and the flat plate 11a is fixed in parallel with the X-Y plane of the rectangular branch waveguide 3 with its elastic force. |
