<p>PURPOSE:To control the tape tension with a simple and low-cost construction by a method wherein an auxiliary brake is provided so as to touch a switching member which switches over the operation state between a fast feed operation and a rewinding operation, and a back-tension torque is applied to a reel base. CONSTITUTION:In fast feed and rewinding operation states, a torque switching- over piece 15 coupled with a torque switching-over arm 14 is horizontally operated by a cam 16a provided on the top plane of a cam gear 16. With this constitution, the torque switching-over arm 14 is turned and an auxiliary brake 4 which is pushed by the turn of the arm 14 presses a braking member 5 against a reel base 8L to produce a back-tension torque. Therefore, a proper braking force can be applied to the reel base and a tape tension can be controlled without the necessity of providing a separated operation system.</p> |
