PURPOSE: To provide a device and method for adopting a machine learning system for 'learning' the specification of a certain program from a trace generated by executing the program related with the set of test programs. CONSTITUTION: A program is instrumented for generating a trace. Performance is improved through a declaration bias, and this declaration bias expresses knowledge related with the program of a user, and restricts a learning system so that only a specification with coherency with the declaration bias can be generated. In a preferable execution example, this device and method are used for learning the specification of a view in the data base of a telephone exchange system from the trace generated by executing the program for generating those views. This is also provided for generating one or more specifications, and processing the views accompanied with conversion. |
