CONSTITUTION:A controller 3 obtains a torque command T* and a differential thetae as the motor speed from a speed operating part 4, drives a VVVF1 and drives an induction motor 2. When the operation torque T of the induction motor 2 is changed, electric torques TM1 and TM2, which are determined in accordance with torque commands T*1 and T*2 that are the operation command values, and single-pulse voltages V1 and V2 are superimposed and applied on the energizing voltage of the motor. Thus, a stable torque without transient oscillation can be outputted.
