PURPOSE:To perform work partially over a wide area and to improve the efficiency of work for corner parts by fitting a traveling part to a car body part to rotate it and fitting a working part to the car body part to operate it. CONSTITUTION:A self-traveling cleaner is composed of a traveling part 1, car body part 2 and working part 3. The traveling part 1 is provided with a car body part rotating mechanism, a traveling part frame 16 is fixed to a bearing inner race by a bearing inner race holder, a car body part rotating and driving gear 20 is fixed to a bearing outer race by a bearing outer race holder and further a car body part frame is fixed to the bearing outer race holder so that the car body part 2 can be independently rotated to the traveling part 1. On the other hand, the working part 3 can be slid and driven form side to side by a motor for slide. Then, the working part 3 or the main body part is operated corresponding to conditions while being traveled in the wide area of a working area, the working part 3 is protruded from a car body at a narrow part, the working part 3 is inserted to the narrow area, and working is directly performed while moving the working part 3.
