Cover for vehicle seat pivot

The cover for a vehicle seat pivot has two cover parts. One part has internal teeth and the other has a radial groove for the moving bolt. Two guide curves are able to be turned against a spring. One guide curve is in the form of a clamping curve (12') with height decreasing in the locking turning direction. The other is a catching curve (6'). The catching curve runs concentrically with the pivot axis (1), and runs only against the corresponding surface (10) in the turning zone of the guide body (5,8) between the free setting of the bolt (9) through the clamping curve and a turning position moving the lock to the released position.
