The centrifuge for spinning small components after a galvanising process consists of a rotatable cage (3) (for holding baskets with components) in a housing (10) with a detachable lid (13). The cage comprises a vertical axle (4), a bottom section (6), and several vertical bars (7). The centrifuge is characterised by the following facts: (a) a lid (13) is attached to a vertically displaceable and horizontal pivotable beam (14); (b) a cage driver (9), which has a vertical axle (33) installed in bearings (32) on the beam (14) and is joined to a rotation drive (34-37) carried by this beam, is located under the lid (13).
