<p>The invention discloses silicon tetranitrate, how to make silicon tetranitrate, and processes for purifying DNA with silicon tetranitrate. The new composition is of the formula: <CHEM> wherein T is HN-NH<6> or Si(OH)<7>, Y is H, R is HN-NH<6>, and X is HN-NH<6>, and repeating units of the composition comprising the formula: <CHEM> wherein T is HN-NH<6> or Si(OH)<7>, Y is H or a monomer unit, R is HN-NH<6> or a monomer unit, x is HN-NH<6> or a monomer unit, and compositions comprising the above monomer and repeating units thereof.</p> |
