Weight equaliser for heavy load, tracked crane

The crane largest load movement exceeds 1000 tm and it has a chassis (9) for equalising weights, whose wheel sets are steerable under load about a vertical axis. To end wheel axle (19) is allocated a swivel (steering) drive (17), consisting of a pair of rams (20) and a cable line drive. The cable ends (22, 23) are secured each to the piston rod ends (24) and to a cable pulley (25), after looping round it. The cable pulley is non-rotatably fitted to a vertical rotary pin (26, 27) rotatably mounted on the chassis for the wheel axle. Pref. the rams extend approx. in the travel direction with their longitudinal centre axes.
