A ground support for stabilising ground by insertion of the support in a bore (13) of the ground employs elongated flexible polymeric tendons (11, 12) to provide the required tensile strength. The tendons (11, 12) extend outward from a head member (14) which provides an inner end anchorage. Outer ends of the tendons (11, 12) are connected to a surface support (16). The bore (13) is filled with filler material (18) which embeds the tendons (11, 12). |
