发明名称 CONTROLLING METHOD FOR TEMPERATURE OF STEEL COMING OUT OF STEELMAKING FURNACE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To accurately control the temperature of steel when the steel is taken into a ladle from a steelmaking furnace. CONSTITUTION:Before steel is taken out of a steelmaking furnace, a temperature-measuring optical fiber 4 is laid along a predetermined route between an interior wall refractory material 3 which lines a ladle 1 that is expected to hold the steel and a furnace wall shell 2, and the scattering phenomenon of light pulses impinging on the optical fiber 4 is utilized to take a temperature distribution from the temperatures of plural portions measured on the route and from those measuring positions, while the thickness of the interior wall refractory material 3 is measured using a laser range finder 6 to determine the thickness distribution of the refractory material. The quantities of heat stored in and radiating from the ladle 1 are calculated from the temperature and thickness distributions obtained, and the temperature of steel coming out of the steelmaking furnace is controlled precisely on the basis of those quantities.</p>
