PURPOSE:To make it possible to execute fare collection processing on the management side of a management system in an image forming device formed by connecting this image forming device to the management device via communication circuit in the case of updating the control program of the image forming device by communication. CONSTITUTION:The kind of an operating section (and copying machine) is discriminated (S1, S3) from received data and the adaptive control program (updated program) is retrieved (S4, S5) when the management device for managing copying machine connected via the telephone circuits receives the signal requesting the updating of the control program of the operating section from the copying machine. The processing is ended by transmitting an alarm message (S6) if there is no adaptive program. A fare message is transmitted toward the copying machine (S7) if there is adaptive program. Whether the fare collection is accepted or not, is judged (S8) and the transmission processing of the updated program is executed (S9) in the case where the fare collection is accepted. The fare collection processing is executed (S11) when the reception end signal on the copying machine side is received. |
