<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of part items by making a spring braking mechanism for an oil brake and achieve simple and quick assembly and stable support by fastening the unit on a spider mounting seat with a bolt. CONSTITUTION:A spring brake unit 1 for an oil brake is constructed by mutually integrating a spring chamber 2, a wheel cylinder 3 and a wedge cylinder 4. The wedge cylinder 4 is provided with a bolt fastening flange 35. On the upper part of a spider 51 to pivotally support a brake shoe 26 at one end, a mounting seat 52 is arranged to be located above a knuckle 53. On the upper part of the mounting seat 52, the spring brake unit 1 is fastened via the flange 35 with a bolt 37. In this way, a spring brake mechanism is made into one unit to reduce the number of parts and achieve simple and quick assembly and stable support.</p> |
