<p>PURPOSE:To make the flow of exhaust gas smooth for facilitating the efficient filtering of particulate. CONSTITUTION:A bypass pipe 11 is provided in a filter case 10, and a ceramics fiber filter 13 is arranged outside the pipe 11. The ceramics fiber filter is formed into a coarse mesh filter upstream and into a fine mesh filter in a downstream metal net heater 14 for burning trapped particulate is provided on the surface of the ceramics fiber filter 13 and held by a porous ceramic cylinder 16. A bypass guide pipe 20 is attached to the inlet of the bypass pipe 11, and a bypass valve 21 to control the passage and cutout of exhaust gas to the bypass pipe is provided in the bypass guide pipe 20.</p> |
