The parking lot (1) is set in a housing (2) located below the level of the surrounding land so that it can be lowered in same by a lift unit (3). A ceiling (4) or roof is mounted at such a height above the parking lot that when the parking lot is lowered the roof closes flush with the upper edge of the land, possibly using an elastic seal to keep out dirt, insects, rain etc. . The roof can be designed as a tiled terrace, garden area with natural soil or other suitable substrate or similar. The housing (2) has a drainage pump (5) and a drainage pipe (6) leading from roof to pump. The housing can contain an integrated air humidifier unit (7). The roof could be designed as a further parking lot for a second vehicle.
