PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a fibrous cross-linked material of polyacrylic acid effectively usable as a sludge gelatinizing agent, an excrementitious matter treating agent, an agricultural and horticultural soil property- improving agent, a dust inhibitor, etc., by using acrylic fiber which has had difficulty in recycling as a raw material. CONSTITUTION:Cyano groups in acrylic fiber are hydrolyzed and reacted with carboxyl groups and/or amide groups and the boxyl groups and/or the amide groups are reacted with a cross-linking agent to successively carry out cross- linking reaction. |
