PURPOSE:To obtain the title device capable of washing the interior of piping having a complicated shape only by the use of water and not generating secondary contamination due to chemicals at all by covering a water absorbing member increased in its volume by water absorption with a stretchable bag formed from material quality feeling rough and providing a string-like support means thereto. CONSTITUTION:A washing member 12 is formed from a water absorbing member (e.g. sponge) increased in its volume by water absorption, the stretchable bag covering the surface of the water absorbing member and the cut-off piece provided to the leading end of the bag. The water absorbing member, the bag and the cut-off piece are supported by a string-like support means 20. That is, the water absorbing member is covered with the bag having a rough surface and moved up and down within a cylindrical body to obtain large washing effect. At this time, since a contaminant is removed only by water without using chemicals, secondary contamination due to chemicals is perfectly eliminated. Since the washing member is brought into close contact with the interior of a drain pipe by the wt. of drained water and the volumetric increase of the water absorbing member, the entire inner surface of the pipe can be cleaned. |
