PURPOSE:To provide a protective layer transfer film that provides thermal- transferred images and the like with various resisting characteristics, particularly, excellent friction resistance, and excellent coloring characteristic and gloss, and a printed material whose durability is enhanced by using the same film. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer cover film comprises a base film 1 and a thermal transfer resin layer 2 formed of an ionizing fadiation-setting resin and provided on top of the base film 1. The thermal transfer resin layer 2 contains silica that has been surface-treated with silane coupling agent. Optionally, a peeling layer 3 may be provided between the thermal transfer resin layer 2 and the base film 1, and an ultraviolet blocking layer 6 or a thermosensitive adhesive layer 5 may also be provided on top of the thermal transfer resin layer 2. |
