Two-axis copying mechanism for chip removing machining

The mechanism has a tool guide system which supports at least one chip removing tool, and a table carries at least one copying template. A transfer mechanism contains a tracer (6) for motion transfer of the tracer along the template to the tool. The tool guidance is in the form of a freely movable cross-slide carriage (5,17,18).The transfer mechanism is a pantograph (1-4) with adjustable or constant transfer ratio. The part (5) of the slide carriage, movable in two axes, is coupled to the pantograph. On the pantograph mounted freely movable arm tracer is controlled by a parallel guidance (1,7-11,2) such that it carries out a translation movement during each possible motion of the pantograph.
