PURPOSE:To accurately and quickly perform select operation by attaining simpli fication of piping of fluid pressure and reduction of a number of part items, in a mechanical automatic transmission shift-selected by an actuator controlled by a computer. CONSTITUTION:A fluid pressure cylinder 15, shift-actuating a shift lever 26, is connected to one end of an operating shaft 24 fixedly provided with the shift lever 26 of a mechanical automatic transmission 10, and a ball screw mechanism 27 moving the operating shaft 24 in an axial direction to select- operate the shift lever 26, servo motor 28 connected to this ball screw mechanism 27 and a rotary angle sensor 30 detecting a rotary angle of this servo motor 28 are provided in the other end of the operating shaft 24, so that a shift sensor 29 detecting a shift position of the shift lever 26 is provided on the operating shaft 24. |
