TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner showing good transfer efficiency with a small amt. of waste toner with which images of high density with little fog can be obtd. CONSTITUTION:This two-component developer is used for a two-component developing method of an alternating electric field type. (1) The developer contains a toner containing at least resin particles containing a coloring agent and an external additive. (2) The toner has 3.5-7.5mum weight average particle size and a specified distribution of grain size. (3) The toner has triboelectric characteristics with >15mC/kg and <=50mC/kg absolute triboelectric charge. (4) The weight average particle size A mum of the toner and the frequency nu(KHz) of the alternating electric field satisfy the relation of 15<=AXnu<=50.
