PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a light source and a light receiving element caused by ambient temperature by adopting such structure that space including a light receiving element and a light source are hermetically sealed by a diffraction grating and a holding material. CONSTITUTION:An optical pickup device is constituted of a holding member 18 provided with a light source 11 and a light receiving element 12, a diffraction grating 15, an object lens 31 and a holder 32 holding the object lens 31. The diffraction grating 15 and the holding member 18 consist of non-water absorptivity resin, also, the diffraction grating 15 and the holding member 18 are integrated in junction by covalent bond, and structure in which the light source 11 and the light receiving element 12 are hermetically sealed is obtained. Thereby, entering of water into a diffraction type optical element from the diffraction grating 15, the holding member 18 and a junction part 17 can be prevented. |
