PURPOSE:To provide a conductive roll which has a high stable quality and performance, can be made to have a low hardness advantagenously without compounding a softening agent and can be improved in absorption characteristics to vibration are effectively and also provide its production method. CONSTITUTION:First, a laminated body comprising an inner layer to form a conductive rubber foamed layer 14 and an outer layer to form a non-foaming semiconductive rubber layer 16 are formed, and a conductive shaft 12 is inserted into the hole of the laminated body. Then, the laminated body is subjected to vulcanization and foaming at one time in a cylindrical die so that a conductive rubber foamed layer 14 and a non-foaming semiconductive rubber layer 16 are formed into one body on the conductive shaft. Or, a laminated body before vulcanization and foaming having a three-layer structure is formed. The three-layer structure consists of an inner layer to form a semiconductive rubber foamed layer, intermediate layer to form a non- foaming conductive rubber layer 16, and outer layer to form a non-foaming semiconductive rubber layer 16. By using this laminated body and a conductive shaft 12, the same procedure as above-described is carried out to form a one body of the laminated structure on the conductive shaft. |
