DESTINATION FIXING CONNECTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SWITCHING NETWORK, NODE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND NODE

PURPOSE:To provide a destination fixing connection management system for switching network which eliminates the need of a special monitor node and transmits the defect of the connection state of a PVC to all nodes on this PVC without giving an unnecessary load to the transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Polling is periodically performed between nodes 1. If drop-out of periodical polling from an adjacent node 1a is detected three times, a node 1b recognizes the occurrence of the defect of the link state. The node 1b notifies it to a node 1c in the next stage on PVC passing this link that this PVC is ineffective.
