PURPOSE:To aim at prevention of air pollution or the like as well as battery charging, by judging whether a driving district is an urban area or not upon analyzing a car speed and, when it is the urban area, driving wheels with an engine, while when it is not, driving these wheels with an electric motor. CONSTITUTION:Symmetrical front wheels 23R and 23L are driven by the engine 21 mounted in the front of a vehicle 20. On the other hand, symmetrical rear wheels 24R and 24L are driven by the battery mounted in the rear of the vehicle 20 via an electric motor 25. In this constitution aforesaid, in this engine 21, there are provided with a car speed sensor 27 and a throttle opening sensor 29 each. And, each detection signal out of these sensors 27 and 29 is inputted into an analyzing device 31 of an electronic control circuit 30, whereby a signal is outputted to a drive selector means 33 from a comparative judging means 32, and either side of the engine 21 or the electric motor 25 is driven. with this constitution, whether it is an urban area or not is judged, for example, when it is the urban area, the engine 21 is driven, thus battery charging is achieved. |
