PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit and to double output power by mutually operating the ON/OFF control of a FET in a crossing manner, changing the polarity to be supplied, connecting it to an ultrasonic vibrator, vibrating it while stretching it, and driving it with a single power source and a doubled voltage. CONSTITUTION:A gap between the electrodes of an ultrasonic vibrator 1 is connected through the center of a coaxial line and external conductors 4 and 5 to the circuit of FET Ta to Tb [(a) to (d)]. When the repetition cycle of ultrasonic waves is defined as Tlambda, FET (a) and (d) and FET (c) and (b) are operated while alternately cross- connecting them in the cycle of Tlambda/2. Namely, When the (a) and (c) are turned off and the (b) and (d) are turned on, the vibrator 1 is set in its original state and when the (b) is turned off and the (a) is turned on from this state, it is charged and extended. Next, when the (a) is turned off and the (b) is turned on, the vibrator 1 is discharged and turned to the original state and further, when the (d) is turned off and the (c) is turned on, it is charged by the revers polarity and shrunk but next, when the (c) is turned off and the (d) is turned on, it is discharged and turned to the original state. Thus, the vibrator is driven by the single power source with the doubled voltage, the circuit can be simplified, and output power can be doubled. |
