<p>PURPOSE:To supply electric power according to priority when the remaining capacity of a battery becomes small by specifying the order of limitation on power supply to peripheral devices and controlling the power supply to the peripheral devices in the order according to the remaining capacity of the battery. CONSTITUTION:A battery rest detecting means 13 detects the battery voltage of a power unit at specific timing and informs a CPU 1 of the battery remaining capacity. A power-saving order specifying means 15 lowers the power supply to the peripheral devices, or makes a user specify the order of the cutting of the power supply, and outputs an indication to a power supply control means 14 according to the battery remaining capacity detected by the battery rest detecting means 13. The power supply control means 14 controls the power supply to the respective peripheral devices periodically by timer interruption. When the detected battery remaining capacity is less than a specific electric power supply rest quantity, the power supply from the battery to the respective peripheral devices is controlled according to the specified order and the states of power supply to the peripheral devices are preferably limited according to the battery remaining capacity.</p> |
