PREPARATION OF MN-ZN FERRITE SINGLE CRYSTAL

摘要

The single crystalline Mn-Zn ferrite is prepared by (A) making the molten raw material(2) contain 0.5-1.0 mol% less Fe2O3, 0.5-2.0 mol% more MnO and 0.0-1.0 mol% less ZnO in the composition than the tablet type raw material(4), (B) charging the tablet type material when the single crystal is grown up to the tilted upper part of conical bottom of a crucible(1) from the molten raw material, (C) controlling the amount of the molten raw material to maintain the depth of the liquid phase(7) over solid-liquid interface at 15-35 mm and the distance between the liquid phase(1) and the small platinum crucible(6), in which the tablet type material is molten, at 30-80 mm.
