PURPOSE:To obtain a good color image reduced in color shift by bringing an intermediate sheet into close contact with a sheet holder by the self-adhesive force of the self-adhesive layer provided to the sheet holder or the intermediate sheet and the holding force of sheet holding members to feed the same to record an image on the intermediate sheet. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate sheet 11 having a light permeable dyeing layer formed on one surface thereof, the sheet holder 1 holding the other surface of the intermediate sheet 11, the sheet holding members 6, 7 bringing the intermediate sheet 11 into close contact with the sheet holder 1 to hold the same and a recording means 23 selectively recording an ink material on the dyeing layer in the state holding the intermediate sheet 11 are provided. Further, a transfer means 29 transferring the ink material recorded on the intermediate sheet 11 to the image receiving material 2 along with the dyeing layer of the intermediate sheet 11 in such a state that the surface having the ink material recorded thereon of the intermediate sheet 11 is brought into contact with the image receiving material 25 is provided. The intermediate sheet 11 is fed by the self-adhesive force of the self-adhesive layer provided to the surface of the sheet holder 1 or the other surface of the intermediate sheet 11 and the holding force of the sheet holding members 6, 7 to perform recording. |
