PURPOSE: To obtain an aqueous dyeing agent for keratin fibers, slight in damage of hair in oxidation dyeing and improved in wet compatibility of hair. CONSTITUTION: This aqueous dyeing agent for keratin fibers comprises an oxidation dye precursor containing at least one developer (e.g. p- phenylenediamine or p-aminophenol) and at least one coupler (e.g.α-naphthol or resorcinol) as a main agent and tris(3-N,N-dimethyl-N-linolenamidopropyl-2 hydroxyammoniumpropyl)phosphoric acid ester-trichloride as a hair care agent and is mixed with a peroxide-containing composition just prior to use. The hair care agent is used in 0.1-5 wt.% concentration in the dyeing agent and the pH value of the dyeing agent is pH 6.0-12.5, preferably pH 7.5-11.5. In the case of requiring a nuance of a specific color, the dyeing agent can contain an ordinary direct dye.
