PURPOSE:To obtain a winding apparatus and a winding method in which a coil, in a plurality of numbers of turns, whose kinds of wires are different is wound automatically on a single core. CONSTITUTION:A winding apparatus is composed of a wire take-up side 1 provided with a spindle 12 supporting, so as to be rotatable, a core B on which wire materials X, Y are wound and of a wire feed side 2 which feeds the wire materials X, Y to the core 13. Consequently, a plurality of feed systems 22, 23 provided with terminal holding parts 222, 232 capable of holding terminals of the wires X, Y are installed on the wire feed side 2. Movement means 4, 5 which correspond selectively to the individual feed systems 22, 23 on the wire feed side 2 are installed on one or both of the wire take-up side 1 and the wire feed side 2. A terminal guide mechanism 3 which delivers the terminals of the wire materials X, Y to the terminal holding parts 222, 232 so as to be held and moved temporarily is installed between the wire take-up part 1 and the wire feed side 2. |
