PURPOSE: To provide an economical method for enhancing the efficiency of a photoelectric cell by preventive maintenance. CONSTITUTION: The surface of a surface cover 3 of a photoelectric cell is charged electrostatically by a static electricity generator 1. The charges repel small dust particles. An electric circuit monitors charging on the battery surface and discharges static electricity in the case of overcharge. Since manpower is not required, a photoelectric cell can be used even in an inconvenient place, where it could not be set conventionally and new applications can be developed. |
